captiva island: what I wore
I’m rounding up my outfits from my recent tropical vacation to Captiva Island, Florida! I went on this trip with Kristian’s family and it was simply lovely. I had never been to Florida before and my first time there set some pretty high expectations!
For my outfits, I wanted to wear things that were both comfortable and stylish. Most of my days were spent on the beach in a swimsuit, so these outfits were mostly for going out to lunch or dinner. I hope you enjoy! All of the links to shop the looks can be found below each photo.
For this look, I wore white on white because I think it’s so fresh for a tropical location. I added interest to the look by pairing it with navy blue accessories, both in the lace bralette and patterned hair scarf. I added my favorite straw hat to top it off!
The second I saw this pale green romper, I knew I had to have it. I honestly think it’s basically me manifested into an article of clothing.😂 Because it speaks mostly for itself, I only added a hat and circle bag as accessories.
This was my most casual and simple look of the trip, but I still loved it. I wore a brown graphic tee with my white distressed shorts and added my hair scarf in a half-up do for some interest. This outfit was perfect for walking on the beach with my love!
I have two favorite swimsuits that I wore on this vacation! One is a yellow checkered pattern and the other is green velvet. (Yep, you heard me: VELVET.) These two suits are definitely my go-tos at all times!
